Accessing the Church Mutual Now® Application

Access codes are available exclusively for customers of Church Mutual. If you have not received your code, please contact our customer service team at (800) 554-2642 Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm CST, or visit our website: www.churchmutualnow.com. For an invitation, please contact your organization’s administrator.

  1. Download the Church Mutual Now® app through the app store on your phone.
  2. On the Get Started screen, select Create an Account.
  3. Provide the email that the invite was sent to.
  4. The invite will pop up. Select Join this Organization to accept or decline the invite.
  5. Create a password that meets the requirements.
  6. Once you see the Account Created screen, you can proceed to the content in the app.

If you have not received an invitation or access code, you will still be able to see some limited content in the app.

  1. Download the Church Mutual Now® app through the app store on your phone.
  2. On the Get Started screen, select Skip for Now.
  3. You will see limited content; to access all of the app’s content, you’ll need an invite or access code.

To invite a person to Church Mutual Now®, you will need to be an organization administrator and follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Events tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the Member Lists button at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the organization you wish to add the person to.
  4. Select the Invite New Member button at the top of the screen.
  5. Enter in the email of the person you wish to invite and select the Send Invite button.
  6. You will see the added email under Pending Invites, confirming that the invite has been sent.

Organizations

When signing up through the Church Mutual Now® app, you will see an invitation screen for each organization that you have been invited to.

  1. Download the Church Mutual Now® app through the app store on your phone.
  2. On the Get Started screen, select Create an Account and provide the email that the invitation was sent to.
  3. The invite will pop up. Select Join this Organization to accept or decline the invite. You will get an invitation pop up for each organization.
  4. Create a password that meets the requirements.
  5. Once you see the Account Created screen, you can proceed to the content in the app.

You can be a part of as many organizations as you like. You will need an invitation or access code for each organization you wish to be a part of.

To become an administrator for your organization, you will need an access code from Church Mutual. To obtain the code, please reach out to customer service or go to churchmutualnow.com.

To create an event, you need to be an administrator. Then you will follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Events tab in the app.
  2. Select Create New Event.
  3. Select your organization.
  4. Fill in the information required and select Create Event.

Waivers and Dependents

You will need to add your children to your profile so that you are able to sign permission slips and medical releases for events.

If you don’t sign the event permission form, your child will not be able to attend the event. The form will have a “caution” icon and be listed as an open item to alert administrators of missing information.

Sharing Safety Resources

You can share content with people outside of your organization. However, if they are not a part of an organization they can only see a limited amount of the content that you share.

General Information

You will need a profile to have full access to the contents and features of the app. If you download the app but skip sign up / log in, you will only be able to see limited content.

To file a claim, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Connect tab at the bottom of the app.
  2. Select the File a Claim button under “Call Us.”
  3. The phone’s dialer will open, prompting you to call Church Mutual’s claims team.

To ask a risk control question through the app, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Connect tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select Ask Your Question under Ask Risk Control.
  3. Fill out the form with the appropriate information.
  4. Select the Send Your Question button at the bottom of the form.
  5. You will see a Sending Your Question screen.
  6. Once your question is sent, you will see a confirmation screen.
  7. Select Done if you’re finished or select Ask Another Question if you wish to ask an additional question.
  1. Select the Connect tab at the bottom of the app.
  2. Contact Church Mutual by pressing the Call Us Now button, calling the number listed above the button, or visiting churchmutualnow.com.

Push notifications are triggered when new content becomes available in the app. As we add new content, we will notify app users that new content has become available.

  1. After onboarding, during the sign in process, you will receive a pop up informing you of why we would like to send you notifications.
  2. You will then receive a pop up asking you whether you would like to allow these push notifications.
  3. Pressing “Ok” will allow you to opt in to these services. Note that you can always turn these off in your settings later on.

Not a Church Mutual customer and want access to Church Mutual Now®?

The Church Mutual Now® app is available for free download to everyone. If you are not a Church Mutual customer, you will only see a limited version of the full app. To access all the app’s content and features, contact Church Mutual to become a customer.
